The Chateau at Incline Village is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Lake Tahoe with stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The Chateau also has a modern touch with vaulted timber ceilings, large stone fireplaces, and spacious covered decks to enjoy the views.

Bride and groom portraits in snow

There is just something about Lake Tahoe that calls to the heart of adventurers. It’s gorgeous views, incredible weather & natural beauty called to Taylor & Aston. They just knew that had to get married here, even though they live down South in Tennessee!!

I will start off wit saying if anyone wants wedding photos at Lake Louise, Alberta, I will drop everything and do it!! These engagement photos at Lake Louise are STUNNING!! It is one of my favorite locations to photograph.

Engagement photos at Lake Louise

The Hyatt Lake Tahoe wedding venue in Incline is one of my favorite venues of Lake Tahoe. The bridal suites that are close to the ceremony locations are great for photos. They offer a lot of space and have decent light, which is a great thing for getting ready photos! Both the garden and lakeside ceremony spots are stunning that you can’t go wrong.

Hyatt Lake Tahoe Beach Wedding

This sweet family contacted me last minute to photograph their family session in Lake Tahoe. They originally planned to travel to Yosemite, but unfortunately, California had other plans for them.

Tahoe has a lot of wedding photographers, so to stand out as a unique photographer in the area, I like to include something different. My favorite way of photographing the wedding rings is to include them with something else that is sparkly… glitter!

This family booked a family session in Lake Tahoe because they were all in town for their parent’s fiftieth anniversary. They wanted to have family photos of them all together on vacation. Right before the session started, the weather started blizzarding! We had booked the session for the beach to have an excellent background of the lake and the mountains. However, with a blizzard, it looked more like we were in an igloo!

Essential oils are things I use daily. I don’t know everything about them like the reps, but I do know a basic amount of information. My go-to essential oil brand is Doterra; because that’s brand that I started out with. I do have a lot of friends that use Young Living, and they love that brand as well. Either way, go with a bigger brand because the ones that you can buy for a fraction of the price at stores like Tj-Maxx are cheap for a reason, they can be full of.. shit. This blog post isn’t about all the specifics on oil grades, but I recommend to do some research if you haven’t.

I loved everything about this Tahoe engagement session. I knew my client, it is in the fall (fall is such a pretty season for photos) and they included their dog!

Something that I have really gotten into in the last two years are podcasts! I use to think that they were only like the cheezy radio talk hosts talking about useless things. I didn’t realize how useful podcasts actually are! I have learned so much from the variety of podcasts that I listen to. And I love that I can listen to them on the go! So for this Friday’s post, I’m sharing my favorite podcasts!
