Wedding at the Chateau Incline Village

Winter wedding at the Chateau at Incline Village, Nevada

This was my first wedding at the Chateau at Incline Village. The venue is surrounded by Lake Tahoe’s beautiful nature. It has stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The Chateau also has modern touches with vaulted timber ceilings, large stone fireplaces, and spacious covered decks for enjoying the views.

I got to photograph a lovely winter wedding held at the Chateau at Incline wedding venue this last winter. Tahoe had just gotten an enormous winter storm the day before the wedding, so it didn’t just snow a little bit, but vast walls of snow were all around. The getting ready house was straight out of a winter fairytale.

Although there was snow EVERYWHERE, the bride and groom had their first look right in front of the house, making it so convenient. It started to snow very lightly while we were doing their bride and groom portraits; however, I came prepared with clear umbrellas! Clear umbrellas are perfect for snowy weddings because you can still see faces through them! The bridesmaids had white furry wraps and snow boots to keep warm, which is necessary for a wedding in the winter.

After the first look, we headed towards the ceremony location, the Chateau at Incline Village. The wedding ceremony was at one of their indoor options; at fireside. The wedding vows are said right in front of the Chateau’s large stone fireplace. The fireside ceremony location is the rain backup for their outdoor ceremonies in the summer. My favorite part of their ceremony was Tanner’s vows, because he presented an award to himself that he was the first to break out of the “friend zone,” therefore making everyone laugh.

Their wedding reception was held at the Chateau’s 5,200 square foot grand ballroom. It was the perfect space for speeches from loved ones, first dances, and celebrating the bride and groom the rest of the night.

In conclusion, f you are looking for a gorgeous venue in Lake Tahoe for your summer or winter wedding,

I’d definitely suggest having your wedding at The Chateau at Incline Village!
