Happy fall y’all!
Fall is a photographer’s favorite season! There is really something special about the fall air and light. And photographing fall family photos, or engagement sessions in the fall… it is literally just amazing. So besides photographing in the fall, I’ve listed five of my favorite things to do..
Family formals on a wedding day can be the most hectic part of the entire day for many reasons. Family formals are typically done right after the ceremony. But every single guest wants to hug, congratulate, and take a photo with you but after your kiss, I need to whisk you away to get those formals done asap so that way you can get back to your party!
Here are a few tips to have as little stress as possible when it comes to this part of your wedding day:
Traditionally the bride and groom don’t see each other until on their wedding day until the ceremony. This new trend is where they see each other prior to the ceremony. And some couples have no freaking idea if they want a first look or not, and ask for my opinion. So here are a few pros and cons that I’ve concluded on what I think about a first look.
I am travel so much. I’ve been to 24 countries and counting. When planning a week-long trip to somewhere, you haven’t been to can be stressful. Imagine planning six entire weeks between ten countries all by yourself. It can be crazy about what apps to use and where to start. These are some of the travel apps I find the most useful for traveling!
Cherish and Dave had such great attitudes throughout their day. There were a lot of obstacles happening like the party bus breaking down, but guests and family members were to the rescue shuttling us all in their jeeps and trucks! My favorite part of the wedding day is we had Cherish, Dave and the wedding party in the middle of the dance floor and they popped a bottle of champagne right then and there. These are my type of people! If you have an idea and think it is totally crazy and out there, I am up for a challenge!!
