5 of My favorite South Lake Tahoe Restaurants

Most of my clients are from out of town, vacationing in Tahoe. Let me ask you, when you go to a new location, how do you decide on what to do, where to stay, and what to eat, etc? Most likely, you are going to ask around for recommendations! Did you know word that word of mouth recommendations result in five times more sales over paid media marketing, AND people are 90% more likely to trust and buy from a brand recommended by a friend? (This is one of the reasons why reviews for small business owners are such a big help) For my tourist friends in Tahoe, this one is for you! These are my five favorite places to eat in Tahoe.

1. Sprouts

   This place is so yummy and healthy! It is a tahoe local favorite spot to eat, but it has grown over the years! If you go, I suggest having one of their smoothies. My go-to is the mango lime smoothie.

2. Blue Angel

   Another loved local place that has been owned by locals since 2003. They have some healthy and innovative foods from around the world. Indoor seating is cozy with a fireplace, and when the weather is beautiful, they have fantastic outdoor seating. And the best part is your dog can join you on the patio! So many people in Tahoe have dogs, so a dog friendly restaurant is necessary!

3. Edgewood

   This is my favorite fine dining Tahoe restaurant and place for drinks! There is Brooks which a great view of the golf course and the newer addition, The Bistro! The Bistro has a warm cozy atmosphere with views of Lake Tahoe!

4. Ernies

   Breakfast is one of my favorite meals, and I’m not talking about eggs and hashbrowns. I’m talking pancakes, french toast and my favorite… waffles with whip cream and strawberries! I order this every single time.

5. Scusas

   If I go out for a nice dinner, my pick is Italian food. Honestly, nothing will ever beat a true authentic Italian restaurant in Rome especially the ones that are in hidden alleys. But this Tahoe Italian restaurant will do for when I am in California!! Their warm rosemary bread they serve with dinner is so dang delicious!
