Photographing rings with glitter

One of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding is photographing the details at the beginning of the day. I like to do a super special image of the rings because that is what started the marriage. An engagement ring is typically what girl dreams about since they are young, and then when the time is right, your fiance spends lots of time searching for the perfect ring, and let’s not forget that it is something that you will wear for the rest of your life. So I like to make sure that I get a super up-close image to capture all that sparkly and gorgeous beauty of this ring of yours!

Tahoe has a lot of wedding photographers, so to stand out as a unique photographer in the area, I like to include something different. My favorite way of photographing the wedding rings is to include them with something else that is sparkly… glitter! I have an entire glitter ring kit that I bring to weddings. A lot of people wonder what in the world I am doing when they see me pouring glitter on a piece of paper and then putting rings on top. Once I show the back of my camera, their minds are blown! These glittery ring shots are MY FAVORITE, so I wanted to share some of my favorite images from different weddings.
