Wedding Reception in Heavenly Ski Resort

With a ceremony on top of a mountain overlooking Lake Tahoe, it couldn’t have been a more pretty view. Who wouldn’t want to get married at the top of Heavenly with a view of all of Lake Tahoe? This definitely called for me to bring out my pink drone and capture all the beauty! Her ceremony included the CUTEST ring security with a skit to mission impossible.

I loved the girly-ness that Thuy had, she couldn’t decide between two pairs of shoes. So she wore her Valentino shoes for the ceremony and her Jimmy Choo shoes for the reception, a wise choice since they were better for dancing!

Guests were from all over and even though I didn’t know anyone prior to their day, I felt like I was part of the family. Everyone was seriously SO nice!

Words from Thuy

• Tell me about your favorite parts of your wedding day?

Many parts! But Walking down the aisle & seeing my husband for the first time that day was everything! Also, Let’s not forget my “ring security” walking down to mission impossible. My nephews practiced that skit for a month LOL! It was priceless!

• Describe your wedding style and the little things you added to make your wedding special.

My style was classic elegance, we paid lots of attention to little details. What made things special was that we kept it manageable with 54 guests. All flew in from around the country & we spent time with everyone.

• Any advice to future brides?

Enjoy the whole process from the moment you get engaged to the moment you say I do. Greg & I had a pact that we would not let anything stress us out. It was our time & not even the fires nearby could ruin our wedding.

• Anything you would change?

Absolutely nothing 🙂 I honestly mean this.

• How did I do?

Alyssa, you are amazing! My guests adored you and are looking for reasons to use you! We LOVE how you captured all of our special moments on film. Our venue is as breathtaking, but you truly made it more beautiful in pictures! Thank you!!!
